Class Companion offers a free teacher plan and a teacher preview for testing an assignment and its rubric. A supported custom-ETL API has not been confirmed, so ETL uses a manual handoff.
- Select a submission whose learner has agreed to Class Companion assessment and choose Copy assessment packet. It includes the passage, level, task, response and rubric. Separate name and email fields are omitted; check the response itself for personal details.
- Open your teacher account. Create or use the matching assignment and rubric, then test the response in Preview as student. Keep this teacher-side; do not invite a real student to obtain a draft.
- Copy the draft scores and feedback into this portal, choose Class Companion draft, and save privately. Verify the text, interpretation and each score, then approve release here.
No automatic sync or email delivery. Class Companion may have its own feedback settings; ETL’s approval gate controls results displayed in this portal. The live external assessment has not been tested.
